Left to expire at the end of the registration period
If not renewed, the business name will be automatically cancelled after two months.
No. Your company must settle all outstanding lodgements liabilities before ASIC will approve deregistration. If you attempt to deregister with outstanding lodgements or debts, your company will then need to be reinstated (which costs extra), debts settled, and the deregistration process started again. This adds significant time and cost.
